But, darling, not as much as tomorrowI know I’ve posted this song before, so you can ignore this post and keep scrolling if you like; but for those of you who don’t know, this is my mom and dad’s “song.” But it came up on my itunes and I was listening to it and I couldn’t help but think, I hope my future husband and I find a “song” like this. Because I feel like lately, songs have been about bullshit: getting high, getting drunk, getting laid, getting money, saying “fck you” to your haters, having boats and hoes…all that stuff. Granted, those are some catchy songs, and there are also many exceptions. But I don’t think the love songs from now compare to the ones of our parents generations. I’ve been seeing Michael Buble and Kelly Rowland’s cover of “How Deep is You Love,” and Maroon 5’s cover of “The Way You Look Tonight” on my dash and it makes me so happy! Happy to know that there are people who see that there are people out there who value love over lust, and memories over material things.
haha I guess you can call me old fashioned, and you’re right! I am! hahahI just want my future love to have a theme song that is appropriate for us, and worthy of our love. That’s all. :)
